CHURCH HISTORY
The Gospel Faith Mission, House of
Restoration, Georgia is a vibrant multi-cultural and multi-racial church
where praise and worship are prominent, and the word of God is
undiluted.
The Church is a mission of The Gospel Faith Mission International (GOFAMINT).
GOFAMINT has a vision to spread the Word of God to the ends of the
earth. It is a Bible believing church, where teachings and a missionary
approach emphasize the proper conduct and moral behavior of the people.
The church has an appeal to all forms of people universally, with a
purpose to teach people in their diverse geographical areas, stages of
secular life and levels of spiritual development.
The General Overseer of the church is Pastor Dr. Elijah Abina.
The church was founded in 1956 by late Rev. Dr. R.A George and since
then, the church has grown to over 2,000 branches worldwide with a total
congregational strength of over two hundred thousand members.
Currently, there are established missions in many African countries, as
well as Europe, Asia, the United States, Canada, and South America.
GOFAMINT has also been involved in establishing schools, orphanages, and
childcare and support centers.
It is this origin that House of Restoration, GA draws upon.
The church started in the United States in November 23, 1984. Since
then, the Lord has blessed the work with about 15 churches with House of
Hope being the Headquarter church in Brentwood Maryland. Pastor Dr.
Francis Aremo and Pastor Peter Odagbodo are currently the National
overseer and Associate National Overseer respectively.
Pastor Andrew Ikenebomeh is the Georgia Regional coordinator, Pastor
Samson Ajadi is our National Evangelist and Pastor Ebenezer Ikenebomeh
is the Resident Pastor of the church
